How do you install an agricultural tunnel cover?
For maximum resistance to wind, rain, or snow, installation with buried edges (also known as sleeves or tunnels) is recommended.
First, make sure the tunnel frame is correctly assembled and stable. For made-to-measure covers, additional margins should be included: one meter on each side of the length (two meters total) to allow burying of the cover edges and ensure proper tension.
On the width sides, add 30 cm per side (60 cm total).
The cover includes a sleeve through which a rope passes to fasten and stretch it.
Dig a trench along each side of the tunnel, bury the edges of the cover, and cover them with soil. This installation method ensures excellent stability without visible fasteners and protects the cover from being lifted by the wind.
