The winter cover for swimming pools is suitable for limiting the use of treatment products and allows for quick and easy restarting at the start of the hot season.

Our winter cover is partially opaque and through its obscuring effect, it prevents the formation and proliferation of algae through photosynthesis. The water in your pond will remain clean and clear, free from any deposits of leaves, twigs, insects or any other pollution.

It will also guarantee you to spend the season in complete safety: falls of people, pets or even objects will be avoided. The rectangular swimming pool cover is suitable for a large number of models of rigid in-ground and above-ground swimming pools (except tubular, self-supporting and inflatable swimming pools).

THE HIGH-END COVER WITH FINISHES FOR POOLS

Our winter cover is made with a central drain. Unlike a completely waterproof tarpaulin, pockets of water will not be able to form on the top thanks to its drainage grid. Precipitation will evacuate naturally and accumulate in the water already present in the basin. This will prevent heavy weight from damaging or tearing the PVC tarpaulin. The dimensions of the grid are adapted according to the surface area of each of our models for optimal efficiency.

The swimming pool cover with central drainage net has a 5 centimeter peripheral hem, heat-sealed and high-frequency welded. It reinforces the periphery and the insertion of the eyelets. These are stainless and placed every 25 centimeters. The closely spaced eyelets will allow you to pass a professional bungee cord so that your tarpaulin is securely attached to your pegs or pegs.

This resistant tarpaulin benefits from the know-how of Dickson Coatings and the best technical characteristics. It has very good resistance to exposure to chlorine and ultraviolet rays.

The high tenacity 1100 dTex polyethylene frame is coated with the Lowick system. This gives it its flexibility that stands the test of time, facilitating installation manipulations. A double-sided Cleangard® varnish accompanied by different treatments perfects the finish of the tarpaulin, helping to limit the appearance of moss and fungus, and promoting rapid maintenance.

This 680PI tarpaulin, with a resistant polyethylene frame coated with PVC on both sides, making it resistant to friction against the copings.

ADVICE FOR SELECTION AND FIXING FOR YOUR POOL COVER

In order to choose the appropriate dimensions for your cover, measure the interior dimensions of your pool, to which you will add 50 cm to 1 meter for peripheral overflow. For example, for a pool with internal dimensions of 10x4 meters, we recommend the use of an 11x6 meter cover.

Installing a swimming pool cover is very simple. Once you have treated your water to winterize your pool, we recommend that you follow the following instructions:

• The tarpaulin must rest and support itself on the entire periphery of the borders or copings.
• Your pool must be completely covered, there must be no gap between the edge of the pool and the cover. Its plant filtration capacity would be impaired.
• It will be necessary to maintain a sufficient water level so that the center of the tarpaulin rests on the water.
• Also make sure that the pool overflow is in working order, because rainwater will flow into the pool with the filter grid.

TIPS FOR ATTACHING YOUR TARP

The use of high-strength professional bungee cord will allow you to securely fix the tarpaulin, so as to prevent it from being caught in the wind in the event of gusts. A tightly stretched tarpaulin will also be effective in guaranteeing your safety.

How to determine the necessary length of bungee cord?

We recommend adding 20% to the periphery of your tarpaulin.

For example, for a tarpaulin measuring 11 x 6 meters, you will need to select 41 linear meters.

(11 x 2) + (6 x 2) x 1.2 = 40.8 (rounded up to the nearest meter).
